From New Jersey
Take the Ben Franklin Bridge which will take you across the Delaware river and into Philadelphia. After you cross the bridge follow signs to Route 676 (West). Follow Route 676 (Vine Street Expressway) to Route 76 East (follow directions for Airport), do not take the exit marked Museum, it is the wrong museum. Once you are on Route 76 East, move to the left lane and take the South Street exit. (This is a left hand exit and it comes up quickly). At the top of the South Street ramp, turn right. After the next traffic light, the museum will be on your left, across from Franklin Field stadium. The Main Entrance is three quarters of the way up the left. The Kress Entrance is located before that, down a driveway on the side of the museum.

From I-95 Traveling North
Traveling North (from Chester, Airport or Wilmington): Take 95 north to exit 291 west to I-76, cross the Platt Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn left at the traffic light onto 26th street. This will lead you directly onto 76 west. Follow to South Street exit (this is a left hand exit). At the top of the ramp, turn left. After the next traffic light, the museum will be on your left, across from Franklin Field stadium. The Main Entrance is three quarters of the way up the left. The Kress Entrance is located before that, down a driveway on the side of the museum.

From I-95 Traveling South
Traveling South (From Bucks County or Northeast Philadelphia): Take 95 south to Route 676. Follow rt. 676 to rt. 76 east (follow directions for airport). Once you are on Route 76 East, move to the left lane and take the South Street exit. (This is a left hand exit and it comes up quickly). At the top of the South Street ramp, turn right. After the next traffic light, the museum will be on your left, across from Franklin Field stadium. The Main Entrance is three quarters of the way up the left. The Kress Entrance is located before that, down a driveway on the side of the museum.

The Museum Catering Company and the Museum Cafe are located on the second floor of the academic wing.

Parking: There is a parking lot at the corner of Convention Boulevard and Spruce Street. There is also metered parking on the street.
